On 11 November 2019 Mr. Peter Koof, lawyer took part in a panel discussion at an event of the agricultural magazine top agrar in Berlin on the topic: "Agriculture in dialogue: "Plant protection and biodiversity - incompatible or two sides of the same coin?" Federal Environment Minister Svenja Schulze was represented by State Secretary for the Environment Jochen Flasbarth. The discussions were held on controversial future issues of agriculture among with Mrs. Saori Dubourg (Member of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF), Prof. Holger Deising (Institute of Agricultural and Nutritional Sciences, Professor of Phytopathology and Plant Protection, Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Mr. Eberhard Hartelt (President of the Farmers and vintners association Rheinland-Pflaz Süd e. V.) and Silvia Bender (Head of the Biodiversity Department of the German Federal Environment and Nature Conservation Agency).
Numerous members of the Bundestag, politicians, representatives of farmers and environmental associations, representatives of the pesticide industry as well as scientists, consultants and farmers took part in the event.
